Oden vs Loyverse
A general POS that also works for retail. Free plan available, but critical modules (KDS, employees) are paid. Support is in English.
Best for: A hybrid retail + cafe business that does not need CFDI invoicing.
Oden vs SoftRestaurant
The traditional system in Mexico (NSF / Pixel Group). Runs on Windows PCs and requires terminals plus a local server. Setup and maintenance are handled by a distributor.
Best for: Large chains with highly customized workflows and a team already trained on the system.
Oden vs Clip
A payment terminal, not a full POS. It works for card payments. It is often paired with a POS (including Oden), not used to replace one.
Best for: Small stalls / food trucks that only need to accept payments.
